IWC and Laureus Sport for Good Foundation Team up again in the Spirit of Sportsmanship with Portuguese Yacht Club Chrono

 IWC renews its global partnership with the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation sailing on a seven year wind of sportsmanship and timely precision with Portuguese Yacht Club Chrono watch.

Laureus Sport for Good Foundation is a charitable organization that harnesses the power of sports to promote social change and responsibility in the lives of children. Laureus fuels its platform for social change through a tri-union collective consisting of the Laureus World Sports Academy, the Laureus World Sports Awards and the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation. This collective works in a spirit of team effort to promote what Laureus defines as a simple core concept:

IWC Schaffhausen is an avid global partner with the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation, and has been part of the organization’s social sport for good efforts since 2005. Each year IWC supports Laureus Sport for Good Foundation with a special limited edition Blue is the Color of Hope watch and in true sportsmanship form the winner this year is Portuguese Yacht Club Chronograph.

IWC Portuguese Yacht Club Chrono is renowned for its watch design which is said to possess the spirit of a precision nautical instrument. IWC Portuguese Yacht Club Chrono features include a 45.4 mm stainless case with a Blue is the Color of Hope dial and IWC-manufactured 89361 calibre movement with self-winding system. Notable features are the hour and minute counters combined in a totalizer at 12 o’clock and its flyback function.
