Panerai Luminor Marina

The Panerai Luminor Marina uses the basic Luminor model and adds a COSC certified chronometer and sub-dial seconds hand. It is also available in left-hand versions. The Marina comes with a steel band steel case white dial and date calendar.  As early as 1930 Panerai had an exclusive contract with the Italian military and provided not only watches like the Marina but also torches and aiming sites for torpedoes. However it wasn't until 1993 that these watches were made available to the general public.
