Speedmaster Day-Date
There are a ton of features included in Omega Speedmaster Day-Date Watches, making these timepieces excellent for anyone who wants a great deal of functionality in a stylish little package. At first glance, you may think that the watch face is a little busy on these pieces, simply because there is so much included on them. However, when you take a moment to look at what all is there, you can see that there is just a lot of information laid out in an orderly fashion, but tightly compacted. Around the outside casing, you will find a tachymetre. These are not a standard inclusion on many modern watches, but they are really fun and interesting. Inside the casing, at the very outside edge of the watch face you will find the numbers 1 through 31 perfectly spaced around the edge. These numbers mark every day of the month. Just inside the ring of numbers marking the days of the month are the standard markings for every hour of the day. The 6 o’clock, 9 o’clock, and 12 o’clock hour markers are actually chronographs. Each chronograph tracks a different amount of time, giving you an additional three tools on your timepiece.
