Spitfire Chronograph

If you want a bold watch that is equal parts style and durability, you will want to see the IWC Spitfire Chronograph.  Many watch styles are including at least one chronograph at this point because they are such useful tools.  So, when a designer wants to use one or more in their design, they must take care to create a look that is interesting, and different from all the other watches on the market.
The IWC Spitfire Chronograph has found a way to be set apart from the crowd, and that is by focusing on the smaller details.  For instance, the hour and minute hands of this watch are much different than the ones you would normally see.  So much of the time, the hands are treated as afterthoughts, only included as the pointer to the really important part of the watch:  the numbers.
On this timepiece, however, the hands are given a style of their own.  They are created in a much thicker fashion than most other hands are, and are flared out near the pointed end.  The effect is a kind of thick arrow, emphasizing the time pointed to.  The overall look is fantastic.
