IWC Pilots

IWC Pilots watches are designed to suit the needs of pilots.  Along with the mandatory time keeping function, each watch has two chronographs that are used to track specific intervals of time that pilots need to be aware of.  If you’re not a pilot, though, this is still a great watch.  Many watches include chronographs because they are so visually appealing.  Also, chronographs are not just for pilots.  Men of numerous professions have found an opportunity to use their chronograph.
A very nice feature of the IWC Pilots collection is the dual rings of markers.  Just inside of the casing is a ring of stainless steel bars in two sizes.  Every fifth bar is slightly thicker and larger than the others to mark the hours as well as the minutes.  Inside of that ring are the standard twelve Arabic numerals to mark each hour.  With both sets of markers, telling the time is extremely easy.
If you are ever in need of knowing the time to the precise minute and second, this is the perfect watch for you.  Along with the hour and minute hands, there is also a second hand.  When your chronographs aren’t exactly right for your time keeping need, such as timing a race, the second hand is absolutely perfect.
