Movado Red Label Collection

A tribute to the Famous Museum dial, Movado releases the Red Label Collection.  This collection of watches for men and women is updated and elegant, with all the beloved traits of the Museum watch.  The Red Label men’s model 606109 is one of the most sophisticated men’s timepieces I’ve seen from Movado.  It is a steel on steel look, which is bright and shimmering.  The Red Label is an automatic mechanical, expertly crafted with 25 rubies.  It has hour, minutes, and date functioning.  The steel case is a large 42mm. The dial is covered with a scratch resistant sapphire crystal, and is the classic Museum style.  The polished steel dial is accented with the Movado logo dot, in silver, and the Movado name, at the 6 o’clock mark, in bold red coloring.  Inspired by the 1946 version of the Red Label, this new version is contemporary and fresh. TAG Heuer, Authentic Quality

TAG Heuer is a well known brand, with a well deserved reputation.  This company is made of pioneers in watchmaking.  Defining, and re-defining the history of this craft since 1860.  It’s no wonder the TAG Heuer name get attention.  It’s no wonder that others are attempting to use this good name to sell their sub-standard products.  The makers of fake TAG Heuers make claims of quality and accuracy.  They will try and pass off imitation Swiss movements, and describe their watches in very vague terms, all the while stating that their products are just like the “real” thing…only much less expensive.  The fact is that they are not anywhere close to being authentic, and you should know that.  If you want the look of a TAG Heuer,( because, let’s face it, they look great) and you don’t mind giving up quality, precision, or legitimacy, go ahead and pick up a fake.  It might look good for a while, it will probably work (although not accurately) for a bit of time, and at the end of the day, you’re not out very much.  On the other hand, if you’re willing to shell out a few hundred dollars on a fake, why not put that money away for an authentic TAG Heuer.  You might not get it today, but you’ll have it…forever.

Omega Museum Collection, Worth Showing Off

TAG Heuer Tesla Roadster Revs Up

The luxury Swiss watchmaker, TAG Heuer has a deep and undying love for Formula 1 racing.  Their respect for this sport has been obvious since their earliest days.  This year, that admiration was made apparent with the 2010 TAG Heuer Tesla Roadster road trip.  The TAG Heuer 2010 Tesla Roadster began its 12,000 mile journey from Basel, Switzerland, with a celebrity send-off by TAG Heuer Ambassador, Leonardo DiCaprio.  The 2010 Tesla is a zero emissions vehicle, and the first of its kind to attempt a trip around the world.  This electric start roadster was unveiled at the 2010 Auto Show in Geneva, and is the result of an alliance between legendary Swiss watchmakers and Tesla.  The round the world trip will be quite an accomplishment and can be tracked on Twitter.  There will be at least three scheduled stops planned in the United States.  The 2010 TAG Heuer Tesla Roadster’s blueprint is modeled after a Swiss watch, with a highly unique design for the cabin.  The center console of the roadster is built to hold the TAG Heuer concept watch. Yes, replicas of famous watches, handbags, and even shoes are sold regularly.  I even have a beautiful Gucci “replica” satchel.  I love it, but when it comes to Swiss made timepieces…I draw the line.  You must not forget the hard work of all the brilliant watchmakers.  You don’t just create a reputable name, you earn it.  That is what Cartier has done.

The Breitling 701, A Fine Choice
