Two bizarre, new watch collections were recently been launched: Dexter Sinister’s Hex watch collection and the new “Star Wars” Limited Edition collection.
The Hex by Dexter Sinister is a watch with a need for speed. This is a true driver’s watch, for either those who like to zoom, zoom on a motorcycle or in a car and definitely for those that tend to break the speed limit. The watch case was actually designed in a wind tunnel and measures 40mm wide by 52mm tall. The watch has a strange shape to it but was designed so that it’s easier to read while not having to twist the wrist, when your hands are on the handle bars or a steering wheel. At 27 mm wide, band is thick, adding extra appeal for those who are “bikers” and like the rough and tough look.
“Dexter Sinister” literally means “left and right”; implying two opposites. A strange and different watch, the Hex asks to be looked at and questioned but does not seek to be bought or worn by someone for whom it was not created. So, wearers, get your engines started.
Another strange, new watch, also made for a specific group of people, is the Star Wars watch. Whether you are on the “light side” or the “dark side” of the force, this new collaboration between Timex, designer Marc Ecko and the Star Wars team, will have you pining for one of these limited edition watches. This watch features design elements, sounds and technologies from Star Wars, like indiglo, Stormtroopers and Darth Vader.
If you’re neither a speed freak nor a Star Wars groupie, then you’ll have a better chance of finding a luxury watch to your liking here. Summer sales, low prices and lots of choices…find your match today!
