Luxury watches and celebrities have long had a relationship. Some watchmakers rely on celebrity ambassadors to promote their brands. Others rely on celebrities being photographed wearing one of their timepieces. Recently Trey Songz was photographed wearing an Audemars Piguet piece during his interview and photshoot with VMAN, a men’s fashion magazine.

Tremaine “Trey” Aldon Neverson, aka Trey Songz, is a rapper, actor, singer-songwriter, and record producer. Songz, 27, signed with Atlantic Records in 2002. His debut album, “I Gotta Make It,” was released in 2005 and he has subsequently released three more records. Songz’ fifth album, appropriately entitled “Chapter 5,” will be released this spring. Songz’ film credits inclue a role in “Queen of Media,” and the upcoming “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D.”

Songz sit-down with VMAN included the opportunity for the entertainer to speak more about “Chapter 5″ as well as talk about his foundation Angels With Heart. Founded by Songz in 2010, Angels With Heart is a foundation that encourages Songz’ fan club members to reach out in their communities. Dubbed “Trey’s Angels”, these fan club members give back through random acts of kindness and support within their communities and throughout their cities. Songz photoshoot was done by photographer Bruce Weber. Songz appeared shirtless while wearing an Audemars Piguet timepiece.

Audemars Piguet is a Swiss watch manufacturer founded in 1875 by Jule-Louis Audemars and Edward-Auguste Piguet. The company is considered to be one of the top four Swiss watchmakers, along with Patek Philippe, Jaeger-leCoultre, and Vacheron Constantin.

In addition to his upcoming album release, Trey Songz is currently on the “Anticipation 2our” with Big Sean. The tour runs through March 11.
