The extensive list of celebs who are spotted sporting Movado watches begins, most recently, with Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush. He flaunted his BOLD chronograph Movado watch on the air this past May as a salute to the company’s success in watch-making.

The BOLD Collection, released in 2011, features a 42mm watch with a stainless steel case and an indigo blue sheen dial. It has a sophisticated black leather strap, and a built-in Swiss quartz movement.

Jayden Smith and Chris Benz were also spotted wearing Movado BOLD watches in this past year. The stylish teen sported his own BOLD watch at the Los Angeles premier of Justin Bieber’s, Never Say Never movie.

The always hilarious Joel McHale is also a known supporter of Movado. He wore the Movado Master, of Movado’s Master Collection, on his E! network show, The Soup, in July 2010. “The meticulously engineered and masterfully refined” Movado Master is both classy and avant-garde. Its porous strap gives it a comfortable feel, while its case design gives the watch an industrial look. It’s a fine piece of jewelry, and, of course, great for telling time.

Movado’s men’s watches are clearly a favorite among celebrities; however their women’s collections are equally praiseworthy. Award-winning actress Kerry Washington was spotted sporting two different Movado watches on separate occasions. She wore the diamond set Movado Fe Sta at the CDFA Fashion Awards, and the gorgeous Movado Bela at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Installation Luncheon.

Movado, Artful Creations

Movado Artists Collection By Kenny Scharf

Here’s a new spin on an old favorite, the Movado Artists Collection.  Have you heard about this?  Movado has collaborated with super-talented graphic artist Kenny Scharf, who has produced these amazingly beautiful creations.  Each one of these timepieces is traditional Movado excellence.  On the inside, all Swiss made and the quality that you’ve come to expect from this watch brand, but these are fun and funky on the outside.  One of my favorites is Kenny Scharf’s “On Time”.  The On Time watch is a 3 dimensional yellow and green accented star, sitting atop a sweeping red and black background.  The Movado dot, in this rendition is at all 4 quarters of the watch, and colored as the star.  The oversized dial is encased in a brushed stainless-steel and this multi colored graphic dial design is paired with a deep black leather strap.  Each of these artistic creations by Movado (and Kenny Scharf) is numbered individually.  Adding to their collectors appeal is the fact that this design is a highly limited edition…only 125 of these pieces will be produced.  There are 6 different versions of the Artists Collection, each with a limited edition of 125, each with Kenny’s individual take on time, and each only available for a short time.  Help celebrate Movado’s undying dedication to art.

The slick and stylish Movado Master

Movado has a new gorgeous line of watches that are sure something to brag about. The Movado Master is so bold and sharp, architecturally oriented and yet stylish enough for the pampered. Movado ahs really taken it to the next level, converging many of their different ideas from other watches and watch designs which prove to be popular, producing this one strikingly beautiful timepiece.

The architectural aspects of the watch are clear expressions of the Bauhaus movement. The iconic Museum dial is used, albeit in slightly a different style. Following this design pattern, door-style hinges are used, adding to the industrial look while providing great comfort for the wrist wearing it.

The watch’s dial can be either white or black and is decorated with luminescent custom made hands. The dot at the twelve is a button like design with a convex center.
