As a transition between the seasons, the backdrop to men’s fashions in luxury watches is all grey smoking guns. Gray, high-shine stainless steel, gunmetal and smoke provide the cleansing palette for men after a Christmas season bustling with color. Emporio Armani, Zodiac, Diesel and Fossil are all accommodating with selections that provide the subdued palette needed for other colors to pop.

Emporio Armani

Known as the well-respected brand that has withstood generations of fashion-savvy consumers, Emporio Armani offers a great selection of greyed-out watches that still surprisingly draw much attention. The Emporio Sportivo (L) features a 43mm face finished in polished and brushed grey ion-plated stainless steel, and a matte sun ray chronograph for a polished, clean look. The more active Sportivo (M) bares it all with a transparent top ring, a grey stainless steel 45mm case and a crisp grey silicone band. Zodiac

If you’re looking for a watch that will stick with you wherever you go, Zodiac is up to the challenge. Famous for taking on the depths of the ocean, Zodiac is Swiss-made and sports-ready, whatever your sport may be. The Zodiac ZMX-03 (L) pairs light grey with tangerine LED-backlit accents against a stamped matte grey dial and includes an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, a 50mm stainless IP sand-sprayed gray case and two non-allergenic rubber straps, complete with changing tool.
