Breitling Busts Out with New iPhone Application
Well, you would have to be a major fan of Breitling watches in order to want to download the new iPhone & iPod Touch Application for their new Chronomat BO1 watch. But I guess they figured there are people out there who will do it.
This new “app” as it’s called in the “techy” world is designed to provide a functional and detailed presentation of Breitling’s latest chronograph: the Chronomat BO1. With 360 degree views, a video, technical data and more, this new app is pretty cool.
As we all know, any and every company selling goods that aren’t basic necessities these days is hurting from a drop in sales. Specifically luxury goods companies like watches that sell their products in the two and three digit range. Breitling isn’t the first watch company to start implementing what are basically new sales strategies. Bell & Ross did it also. Breitling’s approach is a bit different in that it’s promoting a single watch rather than the whole brand.
