IWC Watches Found At Surprising Discount

IWC Portuguese Limited Edition

Maybe the terms IWC and discount watch isn’t synonymous to you, but today we are looking for quality timepieces that can be purchased at a great price.  That’s exactly what I’ve found at The Watchery.   Before we go into details about the IW544206 Portuguese F.A.  Jones IWC men’s watch let me throw out a warning to you.  Buyers beware.  When making a purchase of this magnitude over the internet…do your homework.  Check out the site and any possible consumer reviews that might be posted.  Go straight to the source and visit the company’s actual web-site as well to make certain that the information you’re getting adds up…and finally, do a little research on the watch brand itself.  Once you get your timepiece, look over it carefully.  There are plenty of tell-tail signs that you have an authentic watch.  Be a smart consumer.

Ok, now the deal.  IWC is renowned for their amazing watches.  This version I found on The Watchery is no disappointment.  The Portuguese F.A. Jones manual wind men’s watch is gorgeous!  It comes in beautiful 18-carat rose gold and features a rich brown, croc embossed, leather strap.  This mechanical marvel is a limited edition for IWC and appears more like a work of art than a wrist-watch.  Beyond its stylish design is flawless, reliable technology.  These watches are made to last, it just happens to look incredible, too.  This is a $43,000 watch that’s being offered at $32,250.  I know, it’s still a very expensive purchase, but it is a 25% savings.  For what you’re getting…that is quite substantial.

Check out this limited edition piece and I’m sure you’ll agree…you’ve never seen anything like it before.  Beautiful, superior quality, and on discount.

Cartier Shows Off New Spring Line Of Watches

Cartier La Dona

Cartier’s new spring collection is on display at Bergdorf Goodman’s.  The Cartier  watches that have been chosen beautifully demonstrate Cartier’s dedication to style and design.  From the Small Tank, offered in steel with a rich leather strap to the Platinum and diamond versions…the feel of Cartier comes through.  Quality craftsmanship and luxurious designs have long been a Cartier trademark, but these newer takes on their tried and true classics show a fresh and innovative trend.

The BGS10-02422 Small La Dona Diamond Cartier Woman’s Watch is an elegant and new design.  This beautiful timepiece comes in shining 18-karat white gold and features 52 sparkling round cut, pave set diamonds.  The bracelet is a stunning serpentine style design, with smooth curves and delicate lines.  The face is octagonal and lights up with its silver-toned guilloche sunray dial.

This is, of course only one of Cartier’s many fresh new designs out there.  Classic luxury is synonymous with the Cartier name.  Whether you have owned your Cartier watch for decades or are looking to purchase one today, there is no mistaking that signature look.  Cartier stands upon their well-deserved reputation for producing quality Swiss timepieces, and that hasn’t changed.  The ability to enhance their line with some new and updated pieces shows Cartier’s continued passion.

Movado premieres new watches

The Movado Master is the brands most recent design

The slick and stylish Movado Master

Movado has a new gorgeous line of watches that are sure something to brag about. The Movado Master is so bold and sharp, architecturally oriented and yet stylish enough for the pampered. Movado ahs really taken it to the next level, converging many of their different ideas from other watches and watch designs which prove to be popular, producing this one strikingly beautiful timepiece.

The architectural aspects of the watch are clear expressions of the Bauhaus movement. The iconic Museum dial is used, albeit in slightly a different style. Following this design pattern, door-style hinges are used, adding to the industrial look while providing great comfort for the wrist wearing it.

The watch’s dial can be either white or black and is decorated with luminescent custom made hands. The dot at the twelve is a button like design with a convex center.

The circle of the watch is slightly off to add to the intriguing design and the inner pattern is similar to that of the strap.

Encircling the face is a bezel which is set with either double row diamonds or sapphire, adding to the class and glamour of the watch.

There is so much more to describe this watch. Every inch of space is filled with thought and master design.

Just looking at it could compel someone to buy it.

Try!

Filtering authentic watches from others qualitatively

An authentic watch

A Rolex is costly, but an authentic one will last a long time

So you want to buy a watch. Who doesn’t? Wristwatches have been a celebrated item of garb since they were first introduced a century ago. Some people view them as a mere accessory to just add to a look, but others see it as an item that becomes one’s trademark; in a sense it becomes your defining look. With this in mind, you want to make sure you browse through only authentic, higher class watches.

The price range in watches is very diverse and you need to take care to carefully choose your most treasured item.

Quality is a huge factor in buying a watch. The brand names which decorate many watches are not just there to let the buyer show off their expensive attire, but also claim to be a seal of approval and reassurance that your watch is precious qualitatively. You want to know that you are getting connected to a piece that will be with you for a long time. Imagine buying a dog you knew was going to die the next year. How depressive, right? Well, that’s the same with watches. Don’t buy a watch that’s bound to break shortly after buying.

This is why so many have opted to buying more expensive brands of timepieces even though they don’t consider themselves to be huge spenders in other areas.

Panerai and Ferrari team up to make the ultimate luxury driving watch

Panerai watches are some of the finest Italian watches on the market.  Ferrari is undoubtedly the most recognizable Italian automotive company in the world.  Obviously if these two companies of mechanical excellence team up the result would be remarkable, and the Panerai Ferrari Special Edition 2007 Perpetual Calender is exactly that.

panerai ferrari 2007

This Panerai watch is one of the most luxurious driving-inspired timepieces ever created.  Its movement is the automatic mechanical Panerai OPXXII calibre.  It features a monometallic Glucydur balance along with an Incabloc anti-shock device, protecting and solidifying the movement.  It alternates at 28,800 revolutions per hour and has a 48 hour power reserve.  To top it off, the rotor is engraved with Ferrari’s iconic Prancing Horse.

Containing this fine Panerai movement is a case and bezel made of 19 ct pink gold.  The case back is also made of pink gold and is personalized with the Ferrari 60th anniversary logo.  The watch’s dial has a black square grid decoration that features the Ferrari logo and Prancing Horse at 12 o’clock.  Many subdials populate the dial: small seconds are found at 9 o’clock; the month and 4 year calendar is at 3 o’clock; and the date is displayed at 6 o’clock.

Rounding out the Panerai Ferrari Special Edidtion 2007 are pink gold applied cone sections, pink gold small seconds and display hands, and a black and red alligator leather strap.

Omega Vancouver 2010 Seamaster watch a perfect timepiece for the Games

omega vancouver 2010 seamaster

The Vancouver Olympics may be over, but that doesn’t mean Omega watch’s contribution to the games is.  Omega began their long history with the Olympics during the 1932 Los Angeles games and has acted as the official timekeepers of the games ever since then.  For the 2010 Winter Games, they supplied 220 timekeeping professionals and engineers, as well as 250 tons of equipment to insure all time measurements were accurate.  Omega also made sure not to leave out all the fans of the games; keeping with the tradition of making a commemorative timepiece, Omega has created the Vancouver 2010 Seamaster.

Based off Omega’s popular Seamaster watch, the Vancouver 2010 is an excellent representation of the Olympic Games.  The iconic Olympic rings are found on the back end of the second hand.  The caseback not only features the Olympic city, year, and symbol, but also the image found on every medal given in the 2010 games.  The watch also boasts a self-winding chronometer movement and helium escape valve.

Other notable features of the Omega Vancouver 2010 Seamaster watch include a red unidirectional bezel and date window at the 3 o’clock position.  It has a domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal that has received anti-reflective treatment on the inside.  The watch is also water resistant to 300M.

Finding Discount Watches online

With so many luxury timepieces costing thousands of dollars, it’s easy to see why many consumers would seek out discount watches.  The problem is where to find them.  There are many reputable horological dealers across the country, but finding the right one can be a difficult task.  There are also many networks of owners looking to trade or sell their luxury watches, though identifying and entering these networks can be difficult as well.

watch store

Finding the right place for Discount Watches can be trick

Fortunately, the internet offers a few solutions for those looking for discount watches.  Ebay offers a bevy of fine watch pieces.  Ebay also has things such as watch sets, fancy bracelets or straps, or watches without straps for customizations.  Craigslist also offers many of these items, though lacks the reputation and security of Ebay, so should be used with caution.  Amazon also occasionally has discounts on new watches, as well as used watches being sold by Amazon customers.  There are also a variety of specialty sites selling used and vintage watches for discounted prices.

Of course, buyers must always be careful of discount watches they are interested in purchasing over the internet.  Buyers should be wary of poor quality images or stock photos used to display any watch; moreover, watches with no photos should generally be avoided.  Also, because the chances of inspecting the watch prior to purchase are slim to none, it is almost impossible to verify whether or not the watch is what is actually advertised on any website.  This isn’t to say that every watch put on these sites are damaged, replicas, or otherwise not what they appear.  Simply, one must always use common sense and take deals that seem too good to be true with a grain of salt.

Cartier watch that bares it all

Cartier Watches are undoubtedly some of the finest watches money can buy, and the Santos 100 Skeleton is no exception.  A modern representation of the partnership forged by Louis Cartier and Alberto Santos-Dumont back in 1904, this timepiece is both a mechanical and visual marvel to behold.

The star of this watch is Cartier’s mechanical 9611 MC movement.  Comprised of 138 components and 20 jewels, the movement is delicately and painstakingly finished by hand.  The upper bridgework alone takes 15 hours to complete.  Such care is reflected in qualities such as a 72 hour power reserve, which allows the watch to maintain outstanding accuracy.  Each movement is individually identified on the back of the watch.

Cartier does not let this fantastic mocartier 100 skeletonvement hide behind a typical watch dial and back.  Instead, a skeletonized bridge adapted from the Santos case houses the movement.  Made from 950 ‰ palladium, the case is formed into Roman numerals, creating a truly unique visual presentation that is both striking and easy to read.  Complementing the case are sword-shaped blue steel hands.

Other features of the Cartier Santos 100 Skeleton watch include an alligator skin strap, sapphire crystals on both the front and back of the case, and a triple adjustable folding clasp made from 18k white gold and palladium.  The watch is also water resistant up to 30 meters.
