Maîtres du Temps has always taken pride in their stellar craftsmanship and beautiful timepieces.  The complexity, precision, and reliability of their pieces is something they take to heart.  And the Maîtres du Temps Chapter One Round Tourbillon Chronograph is no exception.


This stunning piece is a collaboration of beauty and engineering.  Three subdials display a 60 minute counter, a retrograde date, and a retrograde GMT.  These dials are situated in a triadic shape in the center of the dial, which features a central chronograph second hand.  Additionally, in the lower portion of the dial rests a one minute tourbillon, adding the beauty of mechanics to this timepiece.  This is enclosed in an 18-carat red gold case which measures 62mm.  The large case also holds a moon phase indicator roller and weekday roller at the top and base, respectively.


The Chapter One Tourbillon Chronograph features a Caliber SHCo2.  This manual wind movement has a power reserve of 60 hours.  The Chapter One Tourbillon Chronograph is also incredibly unique in its mechanics.  It is the only wristwatch which features a tourbillon with a mono-pusher column wheel chronograph, retrograde date and GMT, as well as a moon phase and day of the week indicator.  The Chapter One Tourbillon Chronograph is an incredible piece of engineering, and is crafted from an astounding 558 pieces.


The Chapter One Tourbillon Chronograph is an incredible blend of beauty and engineering.  The smooth black face of this piece combined with the red gold case create an elegance unlike any other.  The mechanical prowess of this piece is incredible, and makes this piece entirely unique.
