Launched by young 19 year-old watchmaker Achille Ditesheim, Movado, whose name means "always in motion", was founded in 1881. Movado is probably best known for its Museum Watches, a collection that debuted in 1947, which features black faces and a single gold dot at the 12 o'clock position, representing the sun at high noon. In addition to this signature look, Movado watches are known for being very light-weight.
